چکیده

In the present investigation we have fabricated cerium dioxide (CeO2) nanoparticles by green route. While preparing co-precipitation method, Neem leaf extract mixed into precursor of cerium. The synthesized CeO2 were used for preparation thick film sensor using screen printing strategy. was characterized XRD, SEM, EDS and TEM techniques. structural characteristics investigated x-ray diffraction technique (XRD). XRD confirms formation cubic lattice material. surface, texture, porosity from SEM analysis, while chemical composition material analysed technique. transmission electron microscopy (TEM) thickness films calculated mass difference prepared sensors belong to region. applied as gas sense gases such LPG, petrol vapors (PV), toluene (TV) CO2. showed excellent response LPG PV, nearly 93.20 % 78.23 response. rapid recovery observed at tested gases. also employed antibacterial study several pathogenic organism pseudomonas, staphylococcus aureus salmonella typhae. From it that is capable inhibiting growth these microbes.
